“The Hong Kong Causeway Bay Public Art Project, under the sponsorship of the Lee Gardens, the dedicated and meticulous planning by Tang Contemporary Art and First Initiative Foundation, will present to the Hong Kong public a set of phenomenal experiences. We wish to use this opportunity to share the spirit of confidence and courage, to extinguish society’s negative sentiments amidst the pandemic times. Through the quality of perpetuity in art, it is me as an artist’s responsibility to convey and educate the meaningfulness of life. Here, I wish to also thank everyone who has been involved with the planning and installation processes in this project.’’
“To have my paintings transformed into real life installations/settings fills me with excitement (and just a little nervous trepidation), as this is yet another opportunity for me to connect to a wider audience through my art , and for people to have an opportunity to interact with art. With a good level of trust between the artist and the curator, the artwork can be shared in a positive and meaningful way.’’

“This painting doesn’t reference a recognisable form. The results are deconstructed to the extent that meaning is shifted and possible interpretation becomes multifaceted. By applying abstraction, the artist tries to develop forms that do not follow logical criteria, but are based only on subjective associations and formal parallels, which incite the viewer to make new personal associations.’’
