“Mystery at the Museum" Storybook

Mystery at the Museum

Book Set

After “My Monet” and “Smile with FiFi!”, the First Initiative Foundation are proud to present our brand new storybook, “Mystery at the Museum”.

Beautifully illustrated by local artist Don Mak, this book depicts the exciting adventure of wild boar Sandro from Italy as he visits three-legged toad Trio in Hong Kong. The storybook is accompanied by a fun activity book “Sandro & Friends” as well as a captivating audiobook available in three languages (Cantonese, Mandarin and English) for download.

FIF has invited our Artist in Support Miriam Yeung to narrate the Cantonese version, Educational Outreach Committee member Karen Li-Lau the Mandarin version and Managing Director Amanda Cheung the English version. Buckle up your seat belts and get ready for an audio-visual adventure with Sandro and Trio!

This book set was created by members of FIF’s Educational Outreach Committee, Managing Director Amanda Cheung and Wild Child Creative, and co-published by FIF and Asia One Books.

All proceeds raised from sales will benefit FIF’s charitable outreach in our community. If you would like to purchase a set, please visit our online shop or The Bookshop in the Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA).

Sandro

Ciao! My name is Sandro! I am the statue from the Piazza del Mercato in Florence, Italy, a wild boar who loves travelling, and my hobbies are eating, sleeping, eating and er… sleeping.

Trio

Hi, I am Trio, a lucky three-legged toad. I am a sculpture at the Hong Kong Museum of Art, and part of the committee that welcomes travelling exhibits. I love meeting new friends and introducing them to delicious Hong Kong food! I also love going to parties, and even enjoy planning them!

Let’s play with Sandro and bring him home!
